HOSTED by PENNY & JULES DANCE brings together the brightest youth dance talent from the south east region. HOSTED celebrates the future of dance by giving schools, colleges and youth dance companies a platform to shine in a professional space.

Applications are now closed for HOSTED and the U.Dance South East Regional Platform 2024

Event: HOSTED – featuring U.Dance South East Regional Platform 2024

Date: Sunday 24 March 2024

Time: Daytime of meeting other groups and technical rehearsals.

5pm platform showcasing dance pieces from each group.

Where: The Old Market, Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, BN3 1AS

Deadline for applications: 12noon, Friday 1 December 2023

HOSTED featuring the U.Dance South East Regional Platform 2024 showcases the variety and diversity of youth dance from across Brighton & Hove and the south east region.

We welcome applications from groups and individuals in the South East with dancers aged 11-19 years, and up to 25 for dancers with disabilities and long-term health conditions; including those that are run by schools, those that are based in the community, those who work with dancers who identify as D/disabled and D/deaf, those from private dance school settings and those working independently.

We encourage groups who create dance pieces in all genres, such as hip hop/street dance styles, jazz and theatre styles, ballet, South Asian dance, contemporary dance, dance of the African Diaspora, folk dance, you name it: HOSTED and the U.Dance Regional Platform are for everyone!

Apply to be part of HOSTED with the option to be considered for the U.Dance South East regional selection for One Dance UK’s U.Dance National Festival 2024.

All applications are to be made by video, submitting a URL link of your dance piece to South East Dance through our online application form.
