The Head of Communications joins us at an exciting time for South East Dance as we prepare to move into our new home The Dance Space. We are looking for a dynamic individual to realise our communications and audience development aspirations, whilst supporting the organisation to build its local, regional and national profile.
You will have a proven communications track record within the cultural sector, be confident in representing South East Dance externally and building relationships with senior level stakeholders. You will have the experience to strategically build our communications activity through a collaborative and imaginative approach whilst possessing an enthusiasm for the contemporary arts and its ability to excite and inspire people of all ages and from a wide range of backgrounds.
Job Title: Head of Communications
Office Base: This is an office-based role at South East Dance, Brighton
Salary range: £30,000 - £35,000

Dance to Health is a pioneering older people’s falls prevention dance programme developed by Aesop, an arts charity and social enterprise.
Dance to Health combines evidence-based physiotherapy with the creativity and energy of dance. The programme in Oxfordshire is delivered by a team of dance artists and managed by Aesop in partnership with South East Dance and Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group.
As Dance to Health grows and develops Aesop and South East Dance are recruiting volunteers to help run local groups in Oxfordshire in Bicester, Headington Oxford and Deddington.
