Hold your class, rehearsal or performance in our studios

The Dance Space is a welcoming home for everyone. We welcome a variety of activity into our building and encourage a diverse range of people and organisations to use the spaces. We operate a sliding scale pricing structure, for information on these rates, please see below:

Rate A: Schools, universities and commercial organisations who wish to hire space for, e.g. workshops, rehearsals, commercial filming or photography, private parties, team building events, meetings, conferences and awaydays – and charities / businesses with a turnover of more than £250k per annum.  

Rate B: Artists and organisations in receipt of public or private funding via project or other grants, that wish to hire space for, e.g. regular classes, workshops, rehearsals, development and meetings - and charities/ businesses with a turnover of less than £250k per annum.

Rate C: We will have a limited amount of space to offer at a reduced rate to non-funded independent artists (currently not in receipt of any public or private funding). This space is available for rehearsal, research and development purposes only.

Please Note: We are mindful of the constantly changing situation regarding public safety in times of Covid-19 and are ensuring we are always up to date with government guidance. In consultation with other venue-based dance and arts organisations, we are working on various models for safe and successful building and programme operations, should social distancing or other Covid-safety measures be necessary in future.  In light of this we may need to make adjustments to our rates going forward.

All rates inclusive of VAT.

Daily rates based on an 8h hire period.

Studios are available for hire Monday to Saturday, 8am-9pm. To hire space outside of these hours please contact studios@southeastdance.org.uk to discuss.
