Acting Our Age: Intergenerational Dance

Acting Our Age intergenerational movement classes are designed for movers aged 50 and over, as well as any interested adults, whether with or without dance experience.

Classes are led by Yael Flexer, Artistic Director of Flexer & Sandiland, creators of internationally touring dance and digital dance works for stage, galleries, sites, and screen. The classes are named after Flexer & Sandiland’s newest touring production, Acting Our Age, performed by an intergenerational cast aged 26-77.

Sessions are grounded in Flexer & Sandiland’s creative approach, bringing awareness to our anatomy and using imagination and physical sensations to experience ease and pleasure in movement.

Classes combine gentle movement improvisation and simple exercises that are accessible to all. Join our growing and lovely community: connect, move, dance, and laugh with us every Wednesday and Friday. You can join either class or both at a reduced price.

Please wear comfortable clothing, and we recommend working barefoot or with socks.
