Screen Moves: U.Dance Digital South East Regional Platform 2022

Screen Moves is a celebration of dance, showcasing the variety and diversity of youth dance from across the south east region. Apply for the chance for your dance film to appear in our digital screening and the opportunity to be considered for selection for the U.Dance National Festival 2022.

Event: Screen Moves - U.Dance Digital South East Regional Platform 2022
Dates: Friday 25 March & Saturday 26 March 2022. The digital event will be available to view on YouTube following the event and until 25 April 2022. 
Time: 6pm 
Where: Facebook Premiere and YouTube Premiere 

We welcome applications from all individuals and groups with dancers aged 11-19 years, and up to 25 for dancers with disabilities; including those that are run by schools, those that are based in the community, those who work with dancers who identify as D/disabled and D/deaf, those from private dance school settings and those working independently.

We encourage individuals and groups who create dance pieces in all genres, such as hip hop/street dance styles, jazz and theatre styles, ballet, South Asian dance, contemporary dance, dance of the African Diaspora, folk dance, you name it: U.Dance is for everyone!

All applications are to be made by video, submitting a URL link of your dance piece to South East Dance through our application form. This submitted piece will be considered for Screen Moves - the U.Dance Digital South East Regional Platform 2022, with the option to be considered for the U.Dance National Festival. IMPORTANT NOTE: All music must be either royalty free or original music composed solely for the piece. Dance films using copyright music will not be able to be part of the programme. You can find out more about choosing music here.
