Congratulations to young South East dance artists
Congratulations to youth dance companies BHASVIC Dance Company and Kalakunj; and to young filmmaker Blythe Hood for being selected to be a part of U.Dance National Festival 2025.
Two South East based youth dance companies have been selected from the U.Dance South East Regional Platform to represent the South East at U.Dance National Festival 2025..
BHASVIC Dance Company, a contemporary dance company attached to BHASVIC sixth form college in Brighton & Hove; and Kalakunj, a Reading-based Indian Classical Dance company will perform at the national festival at Sadlers Wells East 25-27 July.
Also celebrating success is Blythe Hood, a young artist who was commissioned to create a screen dance short film as part of our Young Filmmakers Commission last year.
Blythe has been invited to show her film at the U.Dance National Festival, and you can watch it below, or at the free screening in London on Friday 25 July. Find out more and book tickets here.
Congratulations to all the young artists!
