Withdrawn On Paper is inspired by children drawing monsters. An early form of escapism and expression used by children all over the world through many generations. The imaginary world brought to life by simple drawing, tells tales of an inner dialogue unable to express itself into words."
Artist Biography
Sky Cook is a movement artist based in Worthing, Sky moved to Worthing at a young age after being born in Thailand. Sky started contemporary dance through South East Dance and The Place CAT's partnership programme which inspired her to join The Place CAT scheme as well as her local dance school Brooks Dance Academy. She then received her degree at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary dance in 2025, working with Dresden Frankfurt, Miguel Altunaga and Akram Khan Company during this time inspired Sky within her practice and to create work.
Daniel Bennett is a movement artist based in Worthing, Originally from rural Cumbria. Daniel trained at Rambert School where he received his degree in Ballet and Contemporary Dance, Since graduating he has began to explore the world of film and continued to dance with his company Kin. Daniel has created works based around pop culture with an influence from the natural world, exploring the combination of the two and creating ambiguous performances that ask many questions.
