Rough Cuts: Femina by Ekleido

Ekleido is bringing a new type of energy and flair to the dance world - one that is vibrant, exciting, and perfectly in tune with the cultural zeitgeist - Moves Magazine

Ekleido will be presenting a work in progress sharing of their new work Femina following the first 3 weeks of creation. Enter a mesmerising world characterised by Ekleido’s signature fusion of contemporary and club styles, where six dancers commune and transcend through an electronic musical landscape. Set to an original score by world-renowned musicians Floating Points (Mercury Prize nominee), Ela Minus and Stella Mozgawa, Femina looks at the spectrum of femininity in a layered, electrifying performance.

The highly anticipated new work from award-winning choreographic duo Ekleido (Hannah Ekholm and Faye Stoeser); Femina questions how femininity is perceived, embodied and valued through time.

Following the sharing there will be time for Q&A feedback with the company.
