Learn the West African Lion Dance

Join dance teacher Palaye Seck for a free six-week course to learn the traditional Senegalese Lion Dance, presented in collaboration with Brighton Early Music Festival. Participants will have the opportunity to perform with Palaye at Origins on 13 October, 2024, an immersive show exploring ancient roots and connections via music, dance and stories from the Mediterranean, India and West Africa.

Please note that while there is an opportunity to perform at the end of this course, you do not need to decide whether you would like to perform until later in the course.
