Bachata

Bachata is a dance that originates from the Dominican Republic. It is a dance that fuses other Latin Dance styles like Son Cubano, Bolero and Merengue and it can be danced in couples and individually. Bachata can be danced by everyone, and it is characterised by having a playful and fun rhythm provided by its instruments. Different Bachata styles have evolved from the traditional style, with Bachata Moderna and Bachata Sensual becoming popular across the world.

This course will be taught by Santi, a certified Bachata Instructor, and his dance partner Issy, and will take the students on a fun and progressive journey. Students will learn all the concepts that encompass Bachata, from the basics and creating combinations, to identifying the instruments and implementing musicality.
