Rough Cuts: The Difference a Year Makes by Morvell Dance

The Difference a Year Makes (TDAYM) is a new dance theatre work in development with support from Arts Council England.

Over the past two years, director Amy Morvell has gathered real stories from female-identifying people about change, challenge, resilience, and transformation. These honest, often surprising conversations form the heart of the work. TDAYM explores what connects us through these lived experiences, in a time of rising costs, political uncertainty, and global change, and where we still find humour, solidarity, and hope.

The work is performed by three experienced, diverse performers, who embody these testimonies through dance and verbatim text, translating real voices into live, physical performance with precision and care.

This sharing is a first look at the developing work. Everyone is welcome.

Morvell Dance have a masterclass on Sunday 12 July, 10am. More information here.
