U.Dance 2021 Digital South East Regional Platform

A celebration of dance showcasing the variety and diversity of youth dance from across the south east region.

The U.Dance Digital South East Regional Platform 2021 is part of U.Dance, the UK’s biggest platform for youth dance, led by One Dance UK. The groups selected to take part in the regional showcase were also in with a chance of taking part in the U.Dance National Festival 2021.

Welcome

I would like to welcome each and every group taking part in this year’s U.Dance over the weekend. Every year we work in partnership with One Dance UK to deliver this fantastic annual celebration of dance from across the South East and, although things are a little different in 2021, we hope that the digital nature of this year’s showcase will mean even more people can experience the work of these talented young dancers.

For South East Dance, 2021 is a momentous year, as we get ready to receive the keys of the region’s brand new home for dance. Based in the heart of Brighton & Hove, The Dance Space will offer state-of-the-art creation studios, a wide range of classes, and performance and community-led projects for everyone to discover and enjoy.

U.Dance 2023

In 2023 we were delighted to work in partnership with MÓTUS again for JUMP START.

JUMP START took place in Milton Keynes on 18 March 2023 and featured the following groups as part of U.Dance South East 2023:
