Listen to Our Podcast Series, The Culture Chain
In these podcasts, recorded before the COVID-19 pandemic, dramaturg Lou Cope hosts a series of conversations with four of the key groups that make up the dance sector’s cultural food chain - namely artists, producers, programmers and funders.
These discussions are focused around the question ‘What do we need to do in order to thrive?’ and explore what works and what doesn’t in the traditional model of making and touring new dance work.
Lou Cope is a UK-based dance & theatre dramaturg who has worked across the UK, Europe and in the Middle East. She is the founder of CoAD - The Centre of Applied Dramaturgy and specialises in collaborative practice. Lou also offers Practice Dramaturgy – working with artists outside of productions, and has a podcast called Downtime.
