Jonah Woolfenden's Pro Class - Gravity Mechanics

This class will explore patterns and pathways found within the body that connect standing movement systems with the ground, through finding form and shape and how they interact with motion and weight.
The classes will have a mix of standing & floor phrase work finding how well we can meld the two together to find a seamless balance.
Jonah's bio:
Jonah is a contemporary dance artist with a multi disciplinary background in the arts. his movement language crosses over a wide breadth of practices with deep knowledge into release base and floor work, with inspirations from contemporary, capoeira, microbatics and street dance styles.
He studied at The place (London Contemporary Dance School) where he engaged with a wide range of dance practices across practical and theoretical studies.
Across Jonah's career, he has had the opportunity to work with a variety of choreographers and companies like Maxine Doyle, Ekliedo, Avant Garde, Boy Blue, Pascal Touzeau, Luke Brown company, Premier Dance Theatre and is am currently working and touring with ZoieLogic Dance Theatre.
