Apply for HATCH: our annual scratch night
Apply by Wednesday 21 May, 9am to take part in HATCH, our annual scratch night, taking place on the evening of Wednesday 25 June, 2024 at The Dance Space.
HATCH is an opportunity for dance artists at any stage of their career to test early ideas for performance work with a live audience; and for audiences to experience new work in the raw and play a role in creating it.
Each selected artist will receive:
- A max 15 minute slot during the night to share their work-in-progress idea. Followed by the opportunity to engage audience for feedback, supported by a South East Dance’s Artistic Director, Cath James.
- An honorarium of £50
- 5 complimentary tickets to the event to invite people you’d like to receive feedback from
- 1 day of studio space in the Weston Research Space (subject to availability) - ahead of the scratch night, to play with your idea
