Dance & Moving Image course bursary
Apply by Monday 14 September, 9am.
As part of our Screendance Festival 2026 we are offering one bursary place for an artist to attend Becky Edmunds' five week online Dance and Moving Image course.
Discover a new way of seeing movement on screen with Dance and Moving Image — a dynamic, hands-on course that brings together dance and filmmaking in a creative, exploratory environment. Open to all levels, this course invites participants to reimagine the possibilities of film through the lens of choreography and embodiment.
We are offering a bursary for a UK-based dance artist who either has an existing screendance practice, or who is interested in developing one and who might be experiencing financial barriers to accessing development opportunities like this.
We are keen to support dance artists to gain more tools in making dance for the screen, and this course offers artists at any stage of their career an opportunity to develop their practice.
Course practical info

Please note, if you are applying for this bursary you should be able to make all of the course dates and times.
