Lyndsey McConville

Lyndsey trained at Trinity Laban and has worked with Yael Flexer and Nic Sandiland (formerly Bedlam Dance Company) as a performer and regular teacher since 2001 and was the company’s rehearsal director. Lyndsey was a founder member of Kerry Nicholls Dance Company and has also performed with Shane Shambhu, Nunu Silva, Sirens Crossing, and Transitions.

Lyndsey participated in the Jerwood Bank Project 2008 with Siobhan Davies Dance Company.

Lyndsey has extensive teaching experience teaching for Trinity Laban, London Studio Centre, Greenwich Dance, Independent Dance and The Place. Lyndsey is also a guest lecturer for James Madison University, Virginia.

Company class teaching includes New Adventures, Scottish Dance Theatre, Billy Elliott, Norr Dans and Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company.

Lyndsey has also choreographed numerous pieces for Lewisham College, London Studio Centre and also on behalf of Yael Flexer’s Company. 
 

Lyndsey’s class will focus on an energised and dynamic use of the body, together with strong articulation and clarity when moving.
