South East Dance offers a Disability Confident Interview Scheme
Applicants who apply through the Disability Confident Interview Scheme and meet the ‘minimum criteria’ for the role will be offered an interview. For each of our vacancies we separate the ‘essential’ criteria (critical to being successful in the role) from the ‘desirable’ criteria (enhances capacity to do the role well). To meet the ‘minimum criteria’ for the role and be offered an interview, disabled applicants applying under the Disability Confident Interview Scheme will need to show evidence in their application that they meet all the essential criteria highlighted in the role advert.
To opt in to the Disability Confident Interview Scheme please state that you have a disability and say that you wish to be interviewed under the scheme in your letter of application. By opting-in to this scheme, you will be disclosing that you have a disability solely for the purpose of the Scheme. We will not assume you would disclose or record your disability in any other way.
The Equality Act (2010) defines a disability as a physical or mental impairment which has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on a person’s ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities.
Please send your completed application to jobs@southeastdance.org.uk
We will acknowledge every application.
We are operating a rolling deadline for this recruitment. Please submit your application as soon as you are ready and we will get back to you with next steps.
Please also complete our Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form. This is important as we analyse these to see whether or not we are reaching a wider range of people in our recruitment processes and what changes we may need to make in future in order to do so.
