The Jamie Watton Creation Space

Named for our late Artistic Director/CEO who was instrumental in making The Dance Space a reality, The Jamie Watton Creation Space is a double height, light-filled studio with a sprung floor, where dance artists can produce, rehearse, and perform their work.

As a studio, with its fully retractable seating folded away, the space has a capacity for up to 40 dancers*; and with its seating in place, it can host an audience of up to 123 people*.  When configured as a performance space it has full blackout facilities and a high-spec theatre sound and lighting rig.

Located on the top floor of The Dance Space, it is wheelchair accessible from street level by lift and has access to wheelchair accessible toilet and changing facilities.
