Faye's professional training class draws from her backgrounds combining contemporary dance with underground club dance styles. The class involves a mixture of guided improvisation, centre work exercises and travelling phrases both standing and floorwork, and finishing the class with a phrase that combines the movement elements explored.
The aim of the class in to work on strength, coordination, dynamics and creativity whilst getting a taste of club dance influences.
About Faye
Faye Stoeser is a choreographer and dancer whose career spans from the contemporary dance sector, to the commercial industry, to underground battle scenes. Her artistic style both as a choreographer and performer has a unique blend of contemporary dance combined with underground battle and club dance styles. As a performer Faye’s credits include Rambert, Benoit Swan Pouffer, Ohad Naharin, Clod Ensemble, Richard Chappell Dance, Jose Agudo, with commercial credits including BBC, Wicked Movie, Years & Years.
Faye became part of the Ballroom Scene in 2016, where she specialises in New Way Voguing and is part of the House of Revlon, gaining international recognition in her category through winning multiple battles internationally. She has judged Balls and competitions internationally as well as organizing her own Balls in London.
Faye co founded the dance company Ekleido with Hannah Ekholm who’s work has received critical acclaim touring to theatres and festivals including Glastonbury Festival, Latitude Festival, Sadler’s Wells, The Place, DanceEast and more. Ekleido's dance film ‘Splice’ was released on NOWNESS and was nominated for a National Dance Award. Faye has been commissioned to choreograph works for Rambert School, London Contemporary Dance School, Emergence, London Studio Centre, CAT schemes, and more; with commercial choreographic credits including Saul Nash, British Vogue, Marc Jacobs, Woolmark.
Faye has 15 years of teaching experience with credits including: Rambert Company, The Place, Rambert School, ZfinMalta, London Studio Centre, Italia Conti, Dance Suisse, World of Dance, Pineapple, Base Studios.
