Shared artist studio space: Jamie Watton Creation Space

At just £10 for the whole day, our shared artist studio space offers an affordable opportunity for artists to develop their practice, rehearse or train and we've got some last minute space available in our largest studio, the Jamie Watton Creation Space.

Ideal for dance makers and practicing artists, this shared space invites you to be mindful of others’ needs - and open to the possibility of a positive collision of practices.

Key Info

  • Last minute bookings in the Jamie Watton Creation Space: Monday 9 - Friday 13 March 2026, 10am - 5pm
  • Book for one day or several
  • This is as much a space for working alone as it is for small groups or those looking to collaborate.
  • We offer five bookable places per session (up to three people per slot)
  • A duet or trio can book one place, we trust artists to be considerate of others and keep group sizes small.
  • Please keep conversation to a considerate level so that everyone can focus on moving, making, and their practice.
  • You’re welcome to bring ear pods or headphones if using music, though a sound system is available if needed or appropriate.
  • Please note the accompanying photograph shows the space with raked seating in place - this will be retracted for the studio sessions.
