Rise & Shine

Please note there is no class on 19 February.

These sessions led by award-winning dance and health specialist Dr Rosaria Gracia. are devised to support participants to reduce the risk of falls and subsequent injuries, improve physical and mental health and enhance their quality of life and independence.

Sessions take place in a fun and supportive environment peppered with music and fluid movement. We will focus on awareness of our bodies; and increasing our strength, flexibility and proprioception. Special attention will be paid to breathing too and to regulating our nervous system.

Who is this for?

Open to adults aged 50+ who due to age, medication, transitional stages and/or neurological and/or medical conditions, feel less steady on their feet and would like to feel safer.

If you would like to develop your balance, improve strength and coordination,  promote your physical capabilities, reduce the fear of falling, gain confidence and meet some lovely people along the way, this might be your class.
