Buster

Through cinematic mime and physical theatre, this high-octane performance follows silent film star Buster Keaton's journey from childhood through to his late career. Focusing on Buster's own perspective on what it means to be a performer, the show explores his highs, his lows, the friends he made along the way, his struggle with alcoholism, and his journey to eventually reaching what he described as "the happiest time of his life."

Set to one continuous soundtrack, the ensemble brings the story to life through mime, clowning, lip-sync, puppetry, dance and live onstage lighting control, creating a film-like atmosphere that reimagines mime for a new generation.

A celebration of genius, resilience and the timeless craft of physical storytelling. For older audiences, a chance to revisit a screen legend. For younger ones, an introduction to Buster Keaton's brilliance.
