Beyond the Studio with Dancers’ Career Development & One Dance UK

Come along to this workshop to meet the friendly team from Dancers’ Career Development (DCD) and learn about the support they offer to dancers, including professional development, retraining grants, coaching and mentorship.

One Dance UK and NIDMS are delighted to join DCD to share information about health and wellbeing support for dance professionals as a part of this session.

The workshop will also include practical coaching exercises with the DCD team, to explore your transferable skills, strengths and values; to think holistically about your career trajectory, and plan for the future with excitement and confidence.

This is a free event but please email [javascript protected email address]to let us know if you will be attending.

“The dancers [who attended] found the session so beneficial and were blown away by the support out there that they weren’t aware of.”

Sam Broadbent, Company Chameleon (host, previous Beyond the Studio workshop)

Who are Dancers’ Career Development (DCD)?

DCD are here for every professional dancer, working across the UK, in every dance genre. We offer career development support from vocational training through to the end of a dancer’s performance career.

We are ambitious for dancers’ futures. We firmly believe in the power and potential of dancers to excel in any role or profession they choose to pursue at the end of their performance career. Through a bespoke programme of personal and professional development programmes, retraining grants, coaching and mentoring, we remove barriers to career progression and support dancers to prepare for and move into new roles both within and beyond dance.
