Artists Cafes: Supporting Artists During Lockdown

Our role in supporting artists is more important than ever and following our Arts Council England emergency funding Q&A sessions, we’ve been keeping in touch with our artist network to discuss how we can continue to be of help at this incredibly difficult time. Many of the artists we’ve been speaking to have said that a regular opportunity to come together with others in a similar position would be a great support. In response, we’re launching a series of free Artists Cafes, which will take place online once a month, hosted by a guest artist who will then select the artist to host the next session.

Kicking off the series on Mon 29 June is choreographer and dancer Charlotte Spencer who will be chairing an online discussion about the impact of lockdown on our bodies and our experience of touch. There will be space to talk about personal perspectives, to discuss the impact of so much online content, and to share strategies for nourishing our bodies away from screens.

To book a place visit Eventbrite. Please note spaces are limited.
