If the doors do not open automatically, you may need to press the top button on the intercom system. There is an orange sticker where you should press and someone on the welcome desk will let you in.

Here is what the ground floor looks like, on the left is the welcome desk where you can ask any questions you may have, including where your class will be held.

Once inside, there may be someone from South East Dance checking tickets. You will then need to make your way up to level 2 to The Village Green. You can do this either by the stairs shown in the photo or via the lift.

A photo of the entrance and exit of the building taken from inside, looking out the glass sliding doors. On the left hand side, there is an arrow pointing to the glass door saying enter and exit through this sliding door. On the right hand side is a door lableled stairs with an arrow saying stairs to all levels in the building.

When leaving the building, press the middle button to open the final door (the first door you came in through building).

Three objects on a wall, the first is a green box for the fire door, the middle is a button that says press to exit on it. On the right is a red fire alarm

This is the back of the ground floor, just past the welcome desk next to the lift. You use the changing room if needed before your class and help yourself to water. There is also a shelving unit where you can leave your bags.

Standing next to the lift, the image shows the back half of the ground level of The Dance Space which is a corridor. Looking on the left hand side, the first door leads to the toilets, further on the left there is a water station, some large plants, the accessible toilet and baby changing. At the end of the corridor is the fire exit. Looking on the right hand side, there are chairs and a notice board, then behind that two changing rooms.

If you go up the stairs, level 2 is clearly labelled on the stairwell.

The stairwell of level 2. There is a big green number 2 on the wall that says second floor. Through an archway is the door that leads you to the village green.

This is The Village Green on level 2. Here you will find seats, toilets, accessible toilets and baby change. You may be asked to wait here before the doors open for the show. There is also a door to the Jamie Watton Creation Space, where you will be seeing the show or performance you have booked.

You are welcome to leave prams and buggies in this area while you watch the show.

Two photos stacked on top of each other. The top photo is of a green wall, on that wall is a big number two saying second floor, other writing next to that says The Village Green, Jamie Watton Creation Space, Green Pod, Toilet, Accessible toilet & baby change. The bottom image shows the back half of the village green. There are seats on either side of the space, some plants, a TV on the wall and at the very end a large window.

Food

We do not have anywhere to purchase drinks or food at The Dance Space, but opposite the building is a café that serves food or round the corner on The Grand Parade is Hector's Pub which serves food and drinks.

Standing by the grass, The front of the Dace Space is on the left hand side and Kernel Canteen is on the right hand side. These are labeled with arrows for each building. In the middle is a tree and two A-boards.
