Exciting news! For the first time ever, in partnership between MÓTUS and South East Dance, the U.Dance South East Regional Platform will take place in two locations over one weekend in April 2027.

Groups & soloists will be selected to dance at one of the events. Applicants can choose to be considered for either platform or the location of their choice - Milton Keynes or Brighton.

Event: JUMP START ‘27
Date: Saturday 17 April 2027
Where:  The Venue MK, Fyfield Barrow, Walnut Tree, Milton Keynes MK7 7WH
What: Daytime – Rehearsals and activities. 
Evening – Groups & soloists dancing as part of JUMP START ‘27 and the U.Dance South East Regional Platform

Event: Making Waves
Date: Sunday 18 April 2027
Where: The Dance Space, 2 Market Square, Circus Street, Brighton, BN2 9AS
What: Daytime – Rehearsals and activities. 
Evening – Groups & soloists dancing as part of the U.Dance South East Regional Platform

We welcome applications from soloists and groups in the south east region with dancers aged 11-19 years, and up to 25 years for D/deaf and Disabled people and dancers with long-term health conditions; including from settings such as schools & colleges, those based in the community, private dance schools and those working independently.

We encourage groups and soloists who create dance pieces in all genres, such as commercial/street dance styles, ballet, South Asian dance, contemporary dance, dance of the African Diaspora, jazz dance, folk dance, you name it: the U.Dance South East Regional Platform is for everyone!
