Robot Opera was initiated by the Centre for Research in Opera and Music Theatre (CROMT) and supported by Knowledge Exchange in Media, Arts and Humanities, the Sussex Humanities Lab, the Centre for Research in the Creative and Performing Arts and South East Dance.
Chaired by our Artistic Director, Cath James, this discussion includes the artists and academics behind Robot Opera, including Lead Artist Evelyn Ficarra; Senior Lecturer in Music, University of Sussex, Elizabeth Jochum; Head of RELATE Research Laboratory for Art and Technology in Denmark, Tim Hopkins; stage director, scenographer, film maker and creative director, and Janine Fletcher; choreographer and freelance dance artist.
