This year we're doing things a bit differently and asking you to apply to be considered for our Brighton Fringe Award. Get your application in by 27 April 2026, 9am..

Head Over Wheels

To be considered for this award this year you must:

Register your interest by filling out this short online form South East Dance Brighton Fringe Award Application. – Fill in form

Reserve 2x complimentary tickets for the award panel at a day and time to be agreed with both the Artist and South East Dance

Be presenting a work with Dance at its heart. We are open to multidisciplinary works (e.g. Dance Circus/ Dance Physical Theatre), but dance must be central to the show, and it must have a choreographic dramaturgical approach.

The winner is awarded:

  • 20 hours of free studio space at The Dance Space
  • A mentoring and advice session with the South East Dance programming team
  • A bottle of bubbly to celebrate

 

This award is to the value of over £500!

Brighton Fringe Bursary

Applications are open for our 2026 Brighton Fringe Bursary. The award is open to any artist or company whose Brighton Fringe show includes movement/dance/choreography.
