Big Give 2025 - raising funds for Brighton's littlest movers

We're very excited to have had our application approved to be a Big Give charity for 2025. This means that we'll be taking part in a fundraising campaign during the week of 18-25 March, and every penny we raise up to £2000 will be matched by Big Give.

This year, we're fundraising to extend the work we've been doing with Brighton community nurseries such as Bright Start and Puffin, providing free weekly dance classes to the under five year old children there.

With your help, we want to create a year-long programme of free weekly sessions for nursery aged children from parts of the city that are among the most deprived in the country.

In the run up to Big Give week, we'll be collecting cash donations at our Welcome Desk at The Dance Space, and at events such as Palentine's Day celebration.

And if you're an artist looking for space to develop your practice, we're offering low-cost shared studio space slots on Thursday 20 March. Each three-hour slot is yours for a £10 donation to Big Give.

If you have an idea for a fundraising event to help us bring dance to the lives of children in your community, get in touch with Chloe Barker, Joint Head of Communications at chloe.barker@southeastdance.org.uk
