About RAPPORT
As part of our charitable aim of supporting a healthy and diverse dance sector, we want to encourage a flow of culture, ideas and practice between UK and international dance artists and institutions.
Thanks to the generous support of The Leche Trust and The Garrick Charitable Trust, we established RAPPORT in 2022 to help realise this vision by creating an international exchange programme for dance artists.
RAPPORT sees The Dance Space playing host to international dance artists who develop dialogues and share their practice with our local communities, artists and partners and embed themselves into our programmes at South East Dance. RAPPORT supports UK dance artists to do the same in residence with our international partners overseas.
The programme is made possible through partnerships with international dance organisations, including:
- Dance Makers Collective, Sydney, Australia (Australia’s only collective-led dance company)
- ARTEFICI: Residenze Creative, Gorizia, Italy
- Festival Quartiers Danses, Montreal, Canada
RAPPORT is generously supported by The Leche Trust and the British Council Italy.
