Little Big Dance Cycle Two: Artist Lab

Little Big Dance Cycle Two is the second round of our pioneering programme, delivered in partnership with DanceEast, Take Art and Yorkshire Dance, that’s changing the face of dance for very young audiences.

Cycle two sees us building on the learnings and successes of cycle one to offer one artist a £30,000 commission to create and tour a brand new dance work to UK venues in Autumn 2023; and 13 UK and international artists, selected from an open call, a residency-style Artist Lab opportunity. 

During the Artist Lab, the 13 artists work with Dramaturg Lou Cope, Choreographer Koen De Preter, and Early Years Dance Specialist Hannah Lefeuvre to develop new skills and learn what it takes to create high quality dance experiences for very young children.
