Brighton Screendance Festival 2025

Lights, Camera, Action! Brighton Screendance Festival 2025, our festival of dance for screen, returns as part of Cinecity this autumn.

From 7-9 November, we’ll present a programme of brave and beautiful dance film, which will include;

  • A selection of locally made work as part of our Homegrown event on Saturday 8 November (if you are a regional artist who would like to enter a film, find out more here.)
  • Brownton Abbey Cinematic Universe, a co-presentation with Marlborough Productions.
  • Film screenings of much loved classic films for children and grownups.
  • An accessible digital programme of international work hosted on our website for the duration of our festival.
  • We will also be launching a remote Dance and Moving image course, led by Becky Edmunds, find out more here.

All events will be pay-what-you-can, so try something new and immerse yourself in the curious and creative world of dance on screen here at The Dance Space.

Keep an eye out here and on our socials for the release of tickets for these special events.
