Freelance Visitor & Events Support Staff

We are looking for freelance visitor & events support staff to work on an occasional basis as required.

The role includes covering the Welcome Desk and being responsible for the safety and security of all users of spaces in The Dance Space.  You will need to be confident in routine building systems and procedures and adhering to health and safety requirements.  Training will be provided. 

Shifts will typically be between four and eight hours long and include evening and weekend work.  Lone working may be required.  The rate of pay is £12.60 p/h (Brighton Living Wage – from 1 April 2025).

You will have an efficient, friendly, calm approach and good organisational skills.  The role includes welcoming visitors and callers to the building and, if lone working, being responsible for the safe management of the building and its visitors.
