Flexer & Sandiland: Improvisation (with Contemporary Technique)

Led by Flexer & Sandiland Artistic Director, Yael Flexer, these intergenerational classes are open to adults of any age without or with dance experience.
Sessions are designed to:
- develop awareness of our anatomy
- develop connection to our bodies and each other through use of imagery and playful exploration
- build confidence and social connection
- develop technical and creative skills
Our Wednesday class leads you through gentle movement improvisations and performance scores, concluding with fifteen minutes of contemporary technique (for those that want to improve technical skills). Exercises are made to suit those aged 50+ and accessible to all.
Join our growing and lovely community, connect, move, dance, and laugh with us every Wednesday evening and/or Friday morning.
Please wear comfortable clothing and we recommend you work on bare feet or if needed with socks.
Classes can be taken anytime during the term (if you block-book part way through the term you will only be charged for the remaining classes).
