Films and performances: Exploring the climate crisis
If you'd like to explore the climate crisis further, we recommend these two films, which offer different perspectives on the challenges we face and the possibilities for change.
How to Live on Earth – Benedict Cumberbatch
Featuring inspirational stories, cutting-edge ideas and powerful cinematography from around the world, this film explores how people are working alongside nature to address some of our biggest challenges.
Can I Live? – Fehinti Balogun, Complicité
Conceived, written and performed by BAFTA-nominated actor and activist Fehinti Balogun, Can I Live? is a powerful digital performance exploring the climate emergency.
Combining personal storytelling, spoken word, rap, theatre, animation and scientific evidence, Fehinti explores the connections between environmental breakdown and the global struggle for social justice. Drawing on his experiences as a young Black British man, he also reflects on finding his place within the climate movement.
