May Festival offers for Artists

Discounted Rehearsal Space

We are offering a reduced rate on rehearsal studios at The Dance Space throughout May. From Thursday 1 - Saturday 31 May our studios will be available to hire at £12 per hour for unfunded artists performing in the festivals as well as artists who are in Brighton enjoying the festival season during May. 

So whether you need some additional rehearsal time before opening your show or want to make some last minute tweaks to your work– join us at The Dance Space to use our state of the art facilities and enjoy a warm welcome from our brilliant team.

Resting Space

If you would like somewhere private to relax, have a Zoom call, or even hold a small meeting, our fully accessible Resting Pod is a cosy, welcoming room that can be hired at an introductory rate of £10 per hour. Hire of the space comes with use of a kitchen and wheelchair accessible toilet and shower.

Artist Workspace

We can also offer Artist Workspace at The Dance Space during May. We provide flexible hot desking and shared meeting space which is available for artists to use to catch up on emails, meet with other artists or have some down time during the festival. The Workspace is run on a donation basis and everybody is welcome  - come and make The Dance Space your home throughout the May Festival.

Class

We run a varied programme of professional training and community dance classes here at The Dance Space.  From Professional Contemporary class and Musical Theatre Jazz Pro, to Pilates or Stretch & Strength Flexibility - come join us for class whilst you are here for the May season - you can find our timetable here
