Brighton Fringe Awards

Our Brighton Fringe Award is awarded to the most outstanding dance show at Brighton Fringe.

Tomfoolery Dance Theatre present So-fa, So Good. (Winners of the Betty Maguire Brighton Fringe Bursary)

We work with a team of local artists to develop criteria that reflects our values and we bring together a cohort of artists and South East Dance staff to watch each dance show during the festival to select an award winner.

The winner is awarded:

  • 20 hours of free studio space at The Dance Space
  • A mentoring and advice session with the South East Dance producing team
  • A bottle of bubbly to celebrate!

No need to apply – we make sure we see all the shows that feature dance and movement – but if you have a piece that you think we might be interested in get in touch via programming@southeastdance.org.uk
