Propel Selection Workshop

Are you aged 11-14 and want to build your contemporary dance skills? 

Propel is our exciting new contemporary dance training course for those who want to explore who they are as creative dancers and broaden their experience of dancing. 

If you would like to be part of Propel, attending this selection workshop gives us and you a good idea of whether you will enjoy the course. After the workshop South East Dance will be in touch with all workshop participants to let them know whether they will be invited to join Propel. 
 

Book your selection workshop place and also complete the registration form by 12noon on Friday 18 October 2024. 

Propel, led by experienced dance teachers and professionals, will run from November 2024 – July 2025 on Tuesday evenings at The Dance Space. 

The course includes contemporary dance classes to develop foundations in contemporary dance technique, physical skills and creativity. There will also be workshops with guest artists, a wellbeing session, a theatre trip and an opportunity to perform in the summer term.

Parents & carers will have the chance to find out more about Propel from a member of the South East Dance team whilst the selection workshop is taking place.

We are also running a Taster Workshop in advance of this selection opportunity

Please note: Once you have booked your place and completed the registration form, a member of the South East Dance team will be in contact to request a headshot photo. This can be an informal photo from your phone with a passport style / head and shoulders shot of the participant and will be used to help the selection panel identify who each participant is in the workshop.
