Limón Based Contemporary Class

Presented as part of Our City Dances, this class is designed to expand knowledge, stamina and performance skills, the class adopts Limón, Cuban Contemporary and Release-based methods.

The class emphasizes the natural rhythm of the body, breath, fall and recovery and the interplay between weight, dynamics and musicality.

Suitable for participants with some dance experience and professional dancers as well as those returning to dance, the movement is easily adapted to a range of styles and techniques.

The class will start with release-based and stretching exercises on the floor to increase mobility followed by more technical work in the centre.

Suitable for adults aged 18+. Drop in or book to secure your place.

This class will feature as part of South East Dance's regular class programme from September 2022.
