Presented as part of Our City Dances 2022, join dance activist Lya, aka BLKDiamond Dance, for a dance workshop where she will teach you a simple routine designed to help you feel safe, beautiful and expressive. Lya has become a familiar presence on Hove seafront, running her participatory sessions that aim to make people feel seen and celebrated in public spaces by finding their own movement, rhythm, style and performative personality.
