Lou invites artists to join her in intentional thinking to challenge and expand their work, and does this in four main ways: practice dramaturgy – helping artists to develop their practice; preparation dramaturgy – helping creative teams prepare to make a piece; production dramaturgy – working with artists and their teams in the studio to make a show, and SOS dramaturgy – offering last minute support to a show shortly before or after opening. She also supports artists and companies year-round.
