Abigail Huan

Abigail Huan (She/ Her) is an internationally acclaimed dancer, choreographer and theatre maker.

Originally from Singapore, Abigail holds a BA(Hons) in Dance and a MA in Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA). Her work has toured globally in Europe, Australia and across Asia. Some of her recent devised theatre works include: SOAP (Five Stones Theatre, UK) Heartstrings (Five Stones Theatre, Singapore) and What do you do with an idea? (Five Stones Theatre, Singapore). Her recent stage performance credits include: Ready, Steady, Lift Off (A Line Art, UK) Rise and fall (Page One Theatre, UK), Early Weaves (Hannah Lefeuvre, UK) and Shh…bang! (Peut-Être Theatre, China tour). Abigail has also choreographed for a number of companies including Page One Theatre and West End in Schools. She has also presented at the Asian TYA network in Japan and facilitated TYA workshops at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Through a range of work that strives to be honest and thought provoking, Abigail aims to invite children from all cultures into conversations about art and the world we live in.
