By Jane Mappin and Louis Martin Charest.
Souffle is a reflection on a changed world; a celebration of the strength and resilience of humanity, and the power of hope.
The interpreter relives the emotional states of the last two and a half years of the pandemic: the devastation and the horror, the trepidations and fears, the constantly precarious social relationships, but without forgetting the inner strength and resilience that resurfaces in each of us.

About Louis Martin Charest
Following a career as a dancer (Canada's National Ballet School, Ottawa Ballet, The National Ballet of Portugal and Les Grands Ballet Canadiens) in 2005, Louis-Martin founded LIBERAMÆ performance & films, a vehicle devoted to the advancement of screendance and live art. His films and stage works focus on unearthing authenticity while revealing and provoking a connection to the inner self. Mindful of the younger generations of dance artists, he teaches acting for dancers through improvisation. He lives in Montreal with his family.
