Dancing the Pluriverse

A day of workshops, talks and exchanges where everyone is welcome to come along, work with each other and explore how themes of equity, inclusion and pluriversality (many voices) are explored in dance practice and how they can help us to participate in and choreograph contemporary dance practice in an inclusive and equitable manner. How do we co-create and dance with and alongside each other? What do we learn when we make space for multiple voices, bodies, and ways of being in the dance space?

The event is part of the AHRC funded Dancing Otherwise Network that South East Dance is a member of,  which invites members of the public, dance artists and dance researchers to engage in events and activities and collectively explore how we might foster inclusive, entangled modes of working and dancing together that might lead to a more equitable UK dance ecology and demonstrate the wider potential for dance practices to present models for societal change.
