Foster a sense of self, as well as connecting to others through the concept of social meditation, an interactive group experience created by Veeresh the founder of the Humaniversity School for Masters in Holland, led by trained facilitators.

The facilitators:

Leader: Amrita Jules
Amrita is currently completing the Advanced Therapist Training at the Humaniversity in Holland and is in the 8th and final year of the training.
She first became involved in personal development work and therapy in 2005 after meeting Veeresh, the founder of the Humaniversity in Holland and she has been assisting and facilitating Humaniversity workshops since 2008.
Her therapeutic interests include understanding and expressing emotions, the mind-body connection, the art of relating, compassionate communication, and exploring going beyond our fears and perceived limitations.
She is known for her calm, gentle way of encouraging people to look deeper into themselves and step out of their comfort zone. She has a wealth of knowledge through personal experience and imparts this in a quiet, caring and sincere manner.
She has a background in ballet and contemporary dance and is also a professional yoga instructor with thousands of hours of practice and teaching experience.
Amrita was born and raised in Zimbabwe for the first 20 years of her life and lived in South Africa for three years while studying Art History at the University of Cape Town. Her love and passion for Africa has inspired her to take people from the UK and Europe to this part of the world and in February 2024 she successfully curated and lead her first Yoga Safari Tour in South Africa. 
She currently lives in Brighton, East Sussex with her partner.

Yuson-Sanchez(1938-2015) in the Netherlands in the 1970’s, the Humaniversity is a therapeutic community and school dedicated to the growth, development and fulfilment of the human being. Veeresh’s love and devotion for his master Osho, combined with his experiences as a recovering addict and later as one of the worlds greatest addiction specialists, were the driving forces behind his passion and vision to ‘work with people for a better world’. Veeresh’s spirit is still strong and lives on in the hearts and in the work of those therapistswho were lucky enough to have trained with him and the thousands of group participants who have been fortunate enough to have felt the Love he shared through his incredible body of work.

Who can join?
Suitable for over 18s
Anyone with an average physical fitness can join.
A non-dogmatic space: Open and inclusive to all genders, ethnicities, religions and belief systems.
Yoga: Those new to yoga as well as experienced yoga practitioners can join (morning class is suitable to all levels though you should ideally be able to get down onto the floor and up again with ease)

Please consider:
Afternoon activities are moderately physically challenging, if you have any major injuries(eg. back or knee injuries) it may mean you will find it painful to participate. Some activities take place standing. We can provide a chair for you to sit on if needed.

This workshop is not suitable for:
Not suitable for anyone intoxicated on drugs or alcohol
Not suitable for anyone on medication or coming off of medication for mental illness
