Janine Harrington: Screensaver Series

South East Dance and Brandwatch co-present a multi-screen digital dance exhibition exploring the properties dance might have if it were a screensaver. Created by choreographer, writer and performer Janine Harrington, with media artist Erik Axel Eggeling.

Janine and Erik’s collaboration involves explorations of liveness between dance performance and video processing. Using rehearsal video from Janine’s work Screensaver Series, they have experimented with distortion, enhancement and augmentation by running the videos through various processes and recording the results. These video studies inform research towards a larger body of work in digital dance.

Date: Monday 8 - Wednesday 10 October
Time: 6-8pm
Price: Free
Suitable for: All
Venue: Brandwatch, Sovereign House, Brighton, BN1 1UJ
