The Welcome Project invites you to Our City Dances - Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 July

South East Dance is proud to present Our City Dances, a two-day festival celebrating dance in all its forms bursting out of locations across central Brighton. As we count down to opening the doors to our new home The Dance Space in early 2020, we’ve been working with community heroes from Queens Park and Tarner to programme a weekend of performances, workshops, flashmobs and installations for people of all ages, abilities and interests. Our City Dances is the inaugural flagship event of The Welcome Project, planned to grow year on year as an annual festival that invites the people of Brighton and Hove to join us in our journey as we move toward The Dance Space.

On Saturday 21, our programme is hosted by Tarner festival at Tarner Park and on Sunday 22, events will be popping up across Queens Park ward, Victoria Gardens and ONCA Gallery. All the events are free to attend and accessible to all with many performances BSL interpreted.
