Head of Development

We are looking for a dynamic Head of Development to lead the wider South East Dance team in realising our capital and revenue fundraising ambitions. The Head of Development joins us at an exciting time for South East Dance as we prepare to move into our new home The Dance Space. 

You will be an individual with a proven track record of fundraising from a range of sources including trusts and foundations, the public sector, major donors, corporate partnerships, and individual giving.  You are a natural communicator, confident in representing South East Dance externally and building relationships with senior level stakeholders.  You have an eye for detail; a strategic, collaborative and imaginative approach; and an enthusiasm for the contemporary arts and its ability to inspire local communities. 

Hours: Full time - 37 hours per week
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 
Office Base: South East Dance, Brighton

Assistant Dance Artists (Oxfordshire)

South East Dance is currently recruiting three or four Assistant Dance Artists to support Lead Dance Artists to deliver 4 Dance to Health Programmes in dance classes across Oxfordshire. 

Dance to Health is a pioneering nationwide falls prevention dance programme for older people. Combining movement from evidence-based physiotherapy programmes with the creativity, expression and energy of dance, Dance to Health reduces the risk of an older person suffering a fall.
